Position Overview

Bolder Surgical (“Bolder”) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk II for its growing enterprise. Candidate must be versatile and flexible to work within an entrepreneurial company where you can be counted on to exceed goals successfully and quickly by utilizing strategic agility and negotiation skills effectively.

Roles / Tasks

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Receiving
    • Receives all shipments at the manufacturing location
    • Proper accounting for the location of incoming goods
    • Escalation of damaged items prior to receiving against the Purchase Order as required
    • Comparing packing lists and product counts to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
  • Inventory
    • Updating the product inventory as products are received and asses to the inventory
    • Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments
    • Accurate data entry and recording into ERP system for receipts/inventory/shipping of items
    • Prepare sterilization loads, including arranging transit to and from the sterilizer
  • Shipping
    • Packing products for return to vendors and filling out the necessary paperwork
    • Preparing finished good products for shipment (Domestic and International)
      • Palletization or package preparation for transit
      • Assuring products do not have damage prior to shipping
      • AES filing and other documentation as applicable (including obtaining required documentation from the Chamber of Commerce as applicable)
      • Communicate with the customer to obtain labeling information, freight information, etc.
      • Set up carrier pickups as applicable
  • General Duties
    • Coordinates and supports employees and/or other departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues and matters.
    • Maintains cleanliness throughout the warehouse and carries out facilities maintenance duties as needed.
    • Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness.
    • Participates in Cycle Counts/Physical Inventories of Raw and Finished goods.
    • Act as a backup to the material handler as necessary.
    • Other Duties as assigned.

Requisite Skills

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Good understanding of basic/fundamental warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Ability to perform within a changing workload and/or priorities and meet order schedules with quality results.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 -5 years of work experience in a warehouse environment consistent within areas of material handling, shipping, receiving, distribution, and operations.
  • Experience in a startup environment is helpful.
  • Experience with working in an ERP system (NetSuite is extremely helpful).
  • Experience with Domestic and International shipping requirements
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated team player capable of proactively managing day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally.

Salary Range

Hourly $23.00 – $27.00 – (Pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
